Prisma Color Pencil-
A true art medim with thick, soft led containing brilliant permanent
pigment resistant and lightfast. Colors are easily blended on all surfaces to form an infinite variety of hues and shades.
Pastel-
The most permanent of all media when applied to conservation ground and properly framed. Pastel has no liquid bender that may cause it to oxidize with the passage of time as often times happens with other media. In this instance, pastel does not refer to pale colors as the word is commonly used in cosmetic and fashion terminology. The pure, powdery pigment is ground into a paste with a maximum amount of gum bender, rolled into sticks and dried. The infinite variety of colors in the pastel palette range from soft subtle to hard and brilliant.
Graphite Drawing Pencil-
Pencils specially designed for drawing,
as opposed to the writing pencils that are
in common use. Graphite drawing pencils
are made with graphite, which is also called black lead or plumbago, mixed with clay.
They come rated by hardness: the more clay
mixed with the graphite, the harder the pencil;
the more graphite, the softer.
