Biography

My name is Robert Mitchell. I was born in Albany, GA on August 27, 1977.  Little did I know at the time, I was born with the natural ability to draw.  I discovered my drawing talent at an early age, but I had a greater love, basketball.  Drawing was put aside and my focus was strictly basketball. Years later, after a severe knee injury, I was unable to continue playing basketball on a regular basis. That's when my drawing career began.

Although I had a natural drawing talent, I wanted to further my education in art. I enrolled in Darton College, located in Albany GA. I attended art classes that not only helped improve my drawing skills, but educated me on the history of art. The classes helped me better appreciate art and its significance.

Today, I still reside in Albany, GA. I now have over 10 years of experiences  in drawing.  I specialize in highly detailed work using pastel, prisma, and graphite drawing pencils.
